I spent another two days up at the family farm working on my Tiny Free House. As you can see I screwed the pallet roof boards to the trusses and it’s looking a lot more like a house. My next steps will be to put shingles on the roof, if I can find something suitable, or board up the front wall with milled pallet boards.

Zoey’s Tiny House Update
Zoey’s tiny house is virtually complete and looking comfy and lived-in with just a few small details left to work through like interior sheathing in the loft. One of her recent finishing touches was the addition of a Boilet 10 Standard composing toilet.

Shelter, Shacks and Shanties
Steve from Murchison, New Zealand send me a link to a book written and illustrated in 1914 by Daniel C Beard. Beard was also one of the founders of the Boy Scouts of America.
