  1. Lovely. might i ask what the purpose of the water container next to the sink is used for?

    1. Do you mean the water jug? Many tiny house folks use them for filtered water or when the home is not connected to a water source. But you don’t often see them along side a normal faucet.

      1. I think an inline filter might save some space if it is absolutely needed. I haven’t been in any part of the States where the local water in not potable. Pictures seems very cozy. Just lovely.

      2. I live in a small house with rain water tanks and have an additional Brita water filter on my counter to filter out any unwanted stuff from the roofs of which the water is collected, like bird droppings etc.

    2. When you wash your organic vegetable, it is necessary to use your gravity filtered water over the sink! I use the Berkey near the sink like this.

  2. Good Morning

Are there any communities based in this concept please ?

    Thanks

  3. Seeing one of these photo’s with the gas hob simmering away and the snowy outside reminds me, I’m not in a tiny house, YET!, but even in my ranch, cooking on a gas flame is often just enough to keep the house feeling toasty warm. Gas can get a little hot in Georgia summers, but in the winter, they are priceless! If you’re thinking of your tiny home and wondering should you use gas or electric … I can’t recommend gas enough.

20 years ago I could have bought some land and built a tiny house I could have saved hundreds of dollars a month…
I think this gal has got a great place in a beautiful setting. Good for her!
