Students Build Tiny House at Unique Summer Camp

The Tiny House, built during a unique summer camp at the Key School, is about to hit the road. The 210-square-foot home built on a trailer bed will be one of the main attractions at this weekends Maryland Home & Holiday Show at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium… Over a three-week period in July, student crews worked side-by-side with building professionals to construct the one-room, multipurpose structure. ” – capitalgazette.com

  1. I’m surprised the original Capital Gazette article doesn’t give credit to Minim Homes:

Minim designed the house, and there are more photos of the original on the site.

This is clearly Minim! Why isnʻt credit given where credit is due?!!!!!

  2. This is truly my favorite of all the TH I have seen so far. May I ask what the cost of building this home was?

Is there any group doing this on the west coast…..perfect design for me….getting older, stairs are almost impossible, but need huge “downsizing” for retirement……your “tiny house” is beautiful….truthfully I would not need anything so “fancy”…..just comfortable and livable so I can stay independent as long as possible.

    1. My thoughts exactly ! TH is a perfect solution to aging family members, or boomerang kids who still need to live at home, but not in the house.
Put it in back yard and still independent living.

    2. Yes… There are tons of tiny home builders on the West Coast. Depending on your location. We build in the Pacific NW area. Contact me for more info. PCNWINC@aol.com

  4. Hi in 13 years I’m going to retire and have a little spot on land. Where can I buy plans for these hone or buy home made?

  5. Beautiful tiny house. I love the way it flows and uses all the space!

  6. I can’t see any of the pictures! Can you repost with pictures that will show up on my iPad as it is the only electronic device I have right now with which to view it. Thanks!

  7. Where is the bathroom and shower also refrigerator and sink and faucet for drinking water and washing dishes. Maybe I missed something.

    1. You should probably put your glasses on. 😉 You can see the bathroom in the corner of the second and fourth photos. You can see all of those kitchen amenities clearly in the first photo.

  8. There is no stove but the place is amazing and bright and open. Well thought out !!!
