The one thing I can honestly say about living on an off-the-grid homestead is that preparing is not something we do like “preppers” who you see on television or read about.  My normal, every day life consists of always being prepared. It is just something we do, in our day to day life here. Wind Turbine and Solar Alternative Energy System

Wind Turbine is installed and running! I have been talking about it forever on here, but it is now official……….we have our wind turbine up and running! The reason it took so long is, well, to be honest, money. Money is the hardest thing to come by when you want to do something so bad. The turbine we bought and was sitting in it’s box waiting.
