Believe it or not you can use a mailbox to create a wood stove. While I’m not sure how big of an area it can heat, it’s certainly a low cost alternative to buying a traditional wood stove. This might be okay for an outdoor store, but not for one that you would use indoors.
1) Galvanized metal. TOXIC when heated.
2) Thin metal will develop holes fairly quickly.
Good for emergency use only, if nothing else is available.
