Have you ever dreamed of living on a tropical island in a treehouse like Robinson Crusoe? It’s a dream many of us have imagined. Kristie Wolfe bought land in Hawaii sight-unseen for just $8,000. A year later, with the help of her mother, she built her bamboo treehouse. It took two months and $11,000 to build initially. Now the home is available to rent on Airbnb.com.

Kirsten Dirksen toured the house with Kristie back in 2014 (video below). For more great tiny house tour videos follow Kirsten on YouTube.
Here’s what the house looks like as a vacation rental (video below). To see how the house was built visit Kristie’s Channel on YouTube.

This was never about my personal anxiety about a Palo Alto Tsunami, so purchasing a survival craft or boat was never even a consideration. This is about a problem that I feel a connection to and want to try to solve… The plan is for the tsunamiball to be a guestroom in our backyard. Maybe we will put it up on airBNB when we are all done.” – Chris Robinson

A luxurious small container home sits atop others in Palma, Majorca, Spain – and you can rent it through airbnb.com.
“In a quiet street just five minutes away from the attractions of Palma, is the Container House. As the name suggests the house is made from shipping container modules, which makes this a really unusual place to stay.”

Need to add a color & spice to life?
“Wow, its like some chaotic French carnival of paint! I love it! if you get into color theory this one probably wouldn’t be the poster child for relaxation, but it sure is fun, in a wild, kiddish, free-spirited way, and I would kill to get to visit this place. This gypsy wagon is actually one of many on a compound where you can rent, and stay in, them all!”
