Southern Highlands House

The design is for a new home-office pavilion alongside two existing pavilions on a remote rural property three hours drive south of Sydney. The new building is part of a set of three free standing pavilions that each contain the functions of sleeping, living and working a configuration reflecting a harmonious life-cycle balance that is interwoven into its natural environment.” – ArchDaily.

Small Cabin on Stilts at Flathead Lake

Locals call the granite and shale cliff overlooking Montana’s Flathead Lake “The Matterhorn”. It is a place to observe the natural world: the lake, the surrounding ponderosa pine forest, and especially the eagles and ospreys that nest nearby. Together, the water, cliff, and trees form a classic picture of the expansive American West, and it is clear why Montana is still known as North America’s great destination.” – ArchDaily
