  • ‘Tiny Living’ Plans Updated

    Dan Louche has updated his ‘Tiny Living’ house plans package.

    “The updates are mostly minor and include:

    • A front storage loft was added
    • Additional dimensions and notes added to the plans
    • Some redundant pages removed from the plans
    • Minor corrections and updates to the materials list including current prices”

  • Tiny Home Builders – How to Video Series

    Dan is making excellent progress on his latest tiny house and how-to video series – a virtual tiny house building workshop. Last step on the exterior of this house was to finish the roof.

    “I personally like the look of the metal roof, but I know it’s not for everyone. The problem is that there aren’t many alternatives that are as strong for the high winds that are experienced while moving a house and as lightweight as metal.”

  • Exterior Siding is Going Up – Tiny Home Builders

    Dan is making great progress on this tiny house and recording the entire building process in how-to videos.

    “The siding is going up and I am starting to see what it’s going to look like. I hope to have all of the exterior siding done as well as the roof by the end of the week, but I’m thinking that might be just a bit much, especially since we have rain predicted. I have a tendency to set lofty goals which often leads to disappointment, but when I aim low it’s easy not to overshoot.”

  • We have a door!

    Dan Louche is steadily completing this tiny house. Looking great!

    “I got a few minutes over the weekend to sneak out and install the front door. It’s surprising how easy it is (primarily because doors are sold pre-hung with the frame already assembled). It just seems like it should be more difficult.”
