Architect Michelle Kaufman has just announced three new modern prefab homes available through Studio 101 Designs. They will be built by Blazer Industries and one of them, called the vista0™ v2, is only 422 square feet that costs in the neighborhood of $66,500.

I think the appeal of a small home lies in the fact that they are cheap. A person may expect to pay less than $200 a square foot.
If I’m going to make a small home, I don’t want it to come at a premium. It would appear that Michelle is trying to make up for lost revenue by making her shack come in at an exorbitant price.
