While it isn’t designed as a home, he wanted it to meet some very specific criteria.
One of which was he could build it himself.
The book Place of My Own is an excellent read on the design process and the construction process.
The architect’s design process is thoroughly discussed; a real boon to someone starting a TH design.
Wow. I really love the look of that place. So cozy! I’m always very interested to see how other professionals get stuff done.
