  • A Brew Pub on Wheels

Here’s an interesting example of a trailer conversion. It shows that even a horse trailer can be converted into usable space for humans. Thinking outside the box it’s not hard to imagine how a tiny home could be built inside a horse trailer.

  • The Fancy Farmgirl’s Trailer

Here’s an excellent example of what can be done with an old trailer. Nice work Tiffany!

“Tiffany was given the 52-year old trailer, “Audree” as a gift from her husband, and she soon became “obsessed” with fixing her up. Rather than completely gutting Audree’s interior, Tiffany strove to keep much of the vintage interior intact, such as an enamel icebox, 1950′s grey speckled flooring and aqua counter tops. She then designed the interior in keeping with the vintage feel of the trailer, and the result is a cheerful space that looks incredibly welcoming.”

  • Trailer Pick of the Day – Casita

A trailer can make a nice tiny house alternative – especially if you plan to be on the move. Rebecca shares this example on trailerchicgirls.com.

“Casita trailers are a nice travel option, and they advertise to be lightweight and fuel-efficient.  New ones start at $14,000, but our neighbor was able to find his for $5,000.  He did a little renovating inside, mostly on the cabinets; replacing the old ones with new dark mahogany-stained ones.”
