Custom 30 Foot House

·

A family of three contacted me in late Spring this year to discuss having me build their dream home. The program requirements were pretty grand: 30 feet or longer, two lofts, a bedroom, a murphy bed, full size appliances, a full size tub/shower, stairs, A/C, LOTS of storage, an electic mix of gingerbread traditional, and rustic modern.” – Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses

What type of pickup are you using to pull this tiny home?

2000 Ford F-250 7.3l powerstroke with an upgraded class V receiver hitch.
the key to safe travels was a 12,000# weight distribution system, and also respecting the wind.

I was looking for the sink. Looks like that the counter top can be lifted in the sink area and pulled out. Nice!

    Linda,

Good spotting on the sink. It looks like the sink is there. But a removable piece of butcher-block countertop was saved to cover the sink when the sink is not used.

Very clever solution to hiding the sink and providing a possible portable chopping-block with a handle.

File that idea away in the “nifty detail” file.
