The folks at MetroShed have come up with an interesting new take on the playhouse, no surprisingly named MetroPlay. It’s a modern playhouse with a central 8×8 unit with some expansion options. Expect to pay between $6,000 and $7,000 for a MetroPlay.
While this is a treehouse designed for kids, it’s a really inspiring design. I suspect it’s not completely practical with the translucent fiberglass cladding but the design was so well done I just had to share it with you. It was designed by Canadian designer Nicko Björn Elliott.
