The kitchen looks very homely. A nice job all round!
As I have a VERY inquisitive cat I would NOT be able to have the open shelving as stuff would be knocked off or full of cat hair. BUT, I love the look of open shelving!!!

Have you built one with a first floor bedroom? What is the longest you can build and be able to pull it? I’m a senior and my husband would be unable to get upstairs. To be totally off grid, how much would that add to the cost? Thanks for any info you can give me.
