Julia shares how she’s cooks some healthy food in her tiny kitchen. In this episode she makes Curry Rice Salad, which they will eat for a few days. It keeps nicely in the tiny fridge and they just keep it in the pot they cooked it in until it’s gone.
Here is a cabin which I have built on a flat bed, twin axle trailer. It serves as both a transport method and as facilites for a yurt. It has a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob grill, fridge, sink, as well as a bathroom and a compost toilet, all with hot and cold running water.” – Handmade Matt
Some say a tiny house kitchen can’t be functional and complete. It’s really just a matter of priorities, as this tiny house shows.
I very much believe that form follows function. Everything in a design should have a reason and a purpose. Good design can seamlessly integrate a plethora of systems and make it look natural. It can take various pieces and add them up to make a greater ‘whole’.” – Macy Miller

This 273ft2/22m2 apartment in Warsaw is home for a small family, and although space is scarce the apartment doesn’t feel cramped. Storage and bed is combined in a big box and there is easy access to the loftbed (even for a dog) because there’s a proper staircase leading up to the bed. In the staircase are built-in drawers.” – Living in a shoebox

As you can see by the photos, there is a full size kitchen with a LP stove, 24v fridge/freezer, lots of storage and room to prepare food. The bedroom has a queen size bed with closets at both ends and a chest of drawers under the bed. There is a small drop-down “office” for my computer and I am currently designing a sofa/table unit for the living area. The house is mainly heated by the wood stove, but passive solar keeps the house quite warm!” – Shopdog Tiny House.
Sweet Pea was designed around our friend Gina’s desires to live comfortably and spaciously, and to someday get hitched and start a family. The french doors open at the side, which stretches the space and avoids splitting it down the middle, and the skylights, windows and bump-out nook invite the outdoors inside, adding to the feeling of spaciousness. ” – PAD
“Since storage was key, we wanted to include as many cabinets as possible without sacrificing style. So why not utilize the height we gained by raising the ceiling and take the cabinets all the way up. In order to make the kitchen look bigger and brighter, we went for white high-gloss cabinet doors with accents of milky-white glass doors to add some character, both from IKEA.” – TheDesignerPad
